My favourite k-tip gyuto profile in pattern welded steel forged from multiple layers of 1095 and 15n20 carbon steels. The knife is lightweight and nibble with a strong distal taper. I made the handle from stabilised Mazur birch and ebony. The blade is is heat-treated to 62HRC.
